To be eligible all strategies must report net of fee performance and have a minimum of $10 million in strategy assets. While Curran Wealth Management received awards in 9 different categories for the awards quarter ending 9/30/2024, we want to highlight 3 awards in particular.
US Large Cap Growth & Value
The Growth & Value universe encompasses two pillars that make up the bulk of US investors’ equity exposure. Growth stocks, those that are anticipated to grow at a rate significantly higher than the market average, and Value stocks, those that investors feel are trading below their value and typically pay a substantial dividend.
• 40 Quarters (10 Years) Ending 9/30/2024 – Curran’s Core Growth Equity portfolio ranked 5th in a universe of 75 managed funds for the 10-year period with a rate of return (RoR) of 13.96%*. The average RoR for the funds in this category was 12.13%, while the S&P 500 Index (the index to which this category is benchmarked and measured against) returned 10.93%.
US Midcap Equity & US Midcap Growth Equity
The Midcap universe is made up of stocks believed to be in the middle of their growth curve, typically with a market value between $2 billion and $25 billion and includes all Midcap investment strategies regardless of their investment style. These strategies are often used to provide growth, diversification, and balance. The universe represents all Midcap styles to include growth, value and strategies that include both growth & value.
• 40 Quarters (10 Years) Ending 9/30/2024 - Curran’s Midcap Core Growth Equity portfolio ranked 15th in a universe of 127 U.S. Midcap Equity managed funds for the 10-year period with a rate of return (RoR) of 12.11%*. The average RoR for the funds in this category was 9.97%, while the Russell Midcap (the index to which this category is benchmarked and measured against) returned 10.49%**.
• 20 Quarters (5 Years) Ending 9/30/2024 - Curran’s Midcap Core Growth Equity portfolio ranked 8th in a universe of 65 U.S. Midcap Growth Equity managed funds for the 10-year period with a rate of return (RoR) of 13.07%*. The average RoR for the funds in this category was 10.53%, while the Russell Midcap (the index to which this category is benchmarked and measured against) returned 11.30%.

Each quarter, Zephyr releases its “PSN Top Guns” ranking, an important reference for plan sponsors, investors, and asset managers, showcasing the best performing separate accounts, managed accounts, and managed ETF strategies. Small Midcap Universe
The Small Midcap Universe is made up of companies with market capitalizations between $350 million and $10 billion. These strategies seek to outperform the Russell 2500 Index by taking advantage of the diverse opportunities provided by companies of this size.
• 12 Quarters (3 Years) Ending 9/30/2024 – Curran’s SMID Cap Equity portfolio ranked 10th in a universe of 71 products from 54 firms with a rate of return of 5.3%*. The Russell 2500 Growth Index (the index to which this category is benchmarked and measured against) returned -0.7% for the same period. Our SMID Cap Equity portfolio also ranked 9th in that same product universe when factoring in the portfolios r-squared measurement. This measurement identifies how closely the securities making up the portfolio correspond to the requirements of the underlying index, or the Russell 2500 Growth Index in this case. This ensures the portfolio is capturing the intended class of securities.
